We’re excited to welcome David Joyce to Wingates as Principal | Design & Operations Manager, bringing with him more than 35 years of experience in the building industry and a deep, practical understanding of a wide range of construction processes and building types.

David began his career as an architectural graduate, working across educational and private housing projects. Over the decades, he has expanded his expertise to include luxury homes, industrial buildings, commercial fitout, high end apartments and specialised facilities—building a well-rounded perspective that informs his work today.

At Wingates, David will provide strong leadership across all sectors of Commercial and Large Format Architecture, drawing on his experience working alongside some of New Zealand’s leading project management and development organisations. Known for his calm leadership and clear communication, he’s well equipped to guide teams and projects through complex design environments.
